Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Primary Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our primary school division. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of study pack distribution, student assessment processes, and curriculum alignment with national standards. As the key point of contact for both teachers and parents, you will ensure students receive the best possible support and that all learning materials are delivered on time. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills to manage curriculum standards, testing procedures, and customer service efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Oversight:
    • Manage the distribution and return process for weekly study packs and monthly assessments.
    • Ensure all study packs are aligned with national curriculum standards and appropriate for each year group.
    • Oversee the marking and assessment of returned tests to assess student progress.
  2. Curriculum Management:
    • Collaborate with curriculum developers and teachers to ensure that all primary work is set to the appropriate national standards.
    • Regularly review and update curriculum content to ensure relevance and academic integrity.
  3. Scheduling and Timeliness:
    • Ensure all learning materials, including study packs and assessments, are sent to students on time.
    • Maintain a clear calendar for sending, receiving, and marking work, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  4. Team Leadership:
    • Work closely with your personal assistant to ensure that all daily tasks, such as attendance tracking and curriculum concerns, are addressed efficiently.
    • Delegate tasks and provide guidance to ensure smooth daily operations.
  5. Customer Service & Parent Engagement:
    • Act as the primary contact for parents, addressing concerns, and organizing meetings when needed to discuss student progress.
    • Provide ongoing support to parents regarding their child’s learning experience and address any issues promptly.
  6. Reporting and Feedback:
    • Track and report any concerns student performance data.
    • Provide regular updates to senior management on curriculum issues, student progress, and operational challenges.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or courses in related field.
  • Strong knowledge of national curriculum standards and primary education.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Previous experience in educational administration or coordination.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a small team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other educational tools.
